Rucka Artist Residency programme Autumn 2019 participants selected

We are thankful to all the artists who shared their ideas with us by sending their residency applications!

This year we received over 120 applications from 43 countries. Applications submitted by talented and dedicated artists working in the field of photography, film, painting, drawing, installation, music, performance and other fields. Given the limited residency space, the selection process was very competitive and the Selection Committee had to choose among many thought-provoking and interesting projects. After careful and thoughtful consideration of all applications submitted the committee has chosen 7 artists who will be granted the opportunity to spend one month at Rucka Artist Residency.

The residents of Rucka Artist Residency programme Autumn 2019 are Anna Kuznetsova (Russia), Hugo Nascimento (Brazil), Iveta Gabaliņa (Latvia), Vita Malahova (Italy/Latvia), Michael Mcloughlin (Ireland) and Sanne Kabalt (Netherlands).

We look forward to welcoming our new residents and we wish every success to all the artists who applied for the programme!
